I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.

Greeters

Greeters' Mission Statement:  To greet all newcomers as special guests sent by God. To make sure that all who enter our doors feel genuinely welcomed visitors and members alike. The Greeters will always support the mission and goals of New Zion Christian Fellowship.

Greeter's Purpose:  The Greeters, who have in common the love of the Lord and an infectious smile, are the first point of contact when visitors and members arrive. We are there to welcome, to give direction, provide assistance, and to answer questions. First-time visitors are asked to complete our Guest Registry. If the visitor has indicated on the form that a special prayer request is needed, they're asked if they wish to have someone pray with them right away; otherwise, they will receive a call for prayer in the next few days.

New Members

Our New Members Ministry is a threshold to a wonderful beginning at New Zion Christian Fellowship. Its primary responsibility is to acquaint new members with NZCF though a four week orientation program.  The four week program covers the beliefs and doctrines of NZCF that are based from Holy Scriptures.

Nursery

The New Zion Nursery is open to babies age 6 months old to 2 years old during Sunday morning service. It is located directly across the hall from the Main Sanctuary and is staffed with competent members who shower the babies with love and attention. The Nursery provides parents with the opportunity to enjoy the worship experience without interruption.

Pearls of Zion

The Pearls of Zion Ministry provides mentors to girls, along with learning opportunities. It encourages, provides godly counsel, wisdom and programs that educate and challenge girls living in and around Dolton, IL.  It is our hope that the girls in our program will grow up trusting in God, loving their families, serving their community, and striving for excellence in all their daily pursitis.
